Are you interested in swimming year round?
Talk to your coaches. They can help you get set up at a local USA Swimming team. They can also give you advice such as how to "try out" teams before you commit.
When can you swim until if you still want to swim summer rec?
Non-high school swimmers may participate in a fall program, including meets, through December 31st. Swimmers may continue training Febraury 1st, but may not be in the water more than 15 hours prior to the beginning of the spring season.
High school swimmers are allowed to train an additional 8 weeks prior to the high school swim season, plus the entire 3+ months of the high school season.
