ABOUT THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY MEET:
About 60 teams competed in the 2009 Contra Costa County Meet! The meet is LYMA's annual invitational meet.
The teams are split into three Divisions (I, II, and III) by the number of entries the team has in the meet, not by team size. Division I has the most entries, Division II has less, and Division III the fewest.
Swimmers must achieive a qualifying time standard to be eligible to swim in the County Meet. We send nearly 1/3 of our team to the meet!
RHCC Swim Team continuously finishes in the top 5 in Division I the County.
In 2009, the member 8 teams of our VSA League scored 1/3 of the total points at County. It took 50 teams from other leagues to make up the other 2/3.
RHCC swimmers scored more points than all of the Division III teams combined.
Let's keep that tradition going! Swim fast. Practice hard. Set goals. Achieve them.
