The monetary fees paid only cover a fraction of what is needed to run the swim team. Operation of the swim meets and team activities requires an enormous amount of labor, and Round Hill Country Club does not provide staffing for the swim meets. Without the participation of all volunteer workers, we would not be able to conduct meets.

Each family is required to work several jobs during the season, one of which must be at the VSA League Championship. After registration, there will be sign-up days during which you may select your jobs. The quantity of jobs will be finalized after registration and before the job sign-up date, but it typically is five jobs.

Every family MUST either work or find a substitute for the League Championship meet even if you are not participating in the meet. Once you sign-up, those jobs are yours and will not be changed without your consent. Likewise, once you sign-up, those jobs are your responsibility to fulfill, no matter what the situation.

If you cannot work a job, then you must find a replacement on your own (Round Hill will not handle replacement workers, substitutions or provide a list of replacements). Failure to fulfill your job, including leaving early or arriving late, will result in a $150 assessment per missed job. Assessments will be submitted to and collected by the RH Country Club. Failure to pay assessments may result in a loss of club membership.
