Why don't coaches like the boys to wear jammers to practice?
For practices, briefs are proper swim attire. If you walk onto a high school or USS pool deck, all of the boys will be wearing briefs or similar cut suits. At RH, we take pride in the fact that we properly prepare our swimmers to continue with different avenues of swimming in the future such as high school swimming, college swimming, or USS. Properly preparing swimmers for all levels of the sport includes practice attire.
Also, jammers stretch out easier and more quickly than briefs. Wearing a breif is just part of swimming. Besides, they give you funny tanlines.
